Wasps Removal and Identification
Wasps Removal Services
Paper wasps have long, thin distinctive body shapes with separated abdomens and legs that hang down as they forage. They are predominantly bright yellow and black but can also vary in orange and brown shades as well. Paper wasps maintain much smaller hives and populations that can be found outside in the open, as well as inside small cavities in soffits and rooflines. They tend to produce many small nests in multiple locations on a home. Nests are abandoned in the cold months and populations die off until the queens come out of dormancy the following spring to start over. Their nests are produced from wood pulp that the insects have chewed from trees and fences. They use this wood pulp to build paper nests with open larval pods that contain their eggs and brood.
100 lbs or more in one season. They will maintain a population of 30,00-60,000 insects year around depending on the season. A healthy hive can thrive for a decade or more if given the right conditions. Honey bees are incredibly beneficial and it is imperative we do everything we can to remove and relocate them in a humane manner.

Wasp Nest Removal Arvada, CO
When treating for wasp nests, we provide site specific services to resolve the issue at hand. Our treatment options are specific to wasp control and vary some depending on the species and environment we’re working with. We offer single site, one time treatment service as well as whole house inspection and preventative treatment services. We target the locations around a home these insects are prone to nest, as well as offer suggestions and methods for minimizing their presence. Earlier in the year it can be beneficial to treat these locations around your home to stop infestations before they create multiple or substantial hives. We don’t typically treat trees, bushes or flower beds unless there is an apparent hive located within. Many beneficial insects forage to the flowers and leaves on trees and plants and they aren’t necessarily threatening or harmful. We do offer live removal and relocation services for wasp nests for customers who request it on a case by case basis.
